Lilies, Wheels and Clouds opens with a reception Saturday, Feb. 2, 11am-5pm at Coleman Gallery. The artists exhibiting are Andrew Speer, Scott Krichau and Page Coleman. The artists will be present from 4-5pm. Andrew Speer's big oil paintings take you on a visual journey thru layers of disparate objects that seem to float. Speers is a real painter's painter. Scott Krichau's whimsical, painted steel sculptures try to roll on their tiny wheels. They beg the viewer to give them a great, big hug. Page Coleman's new 10" square acrylic paintings are unique abstractions of clouds that look like anything from donuts to big eyes. This show will be a lot of fun! The exhibit continues through March 29.

A Splash Ink art show will take place at Arts Alliance Gallery from Friday, Feb.1st. through the 25th. 1100 San Mateo Blvd, ABQ. Opening First Friday evening, the reception will include famous painter Master Fei-Pai Yeh from China demonstrating ink painting of celestial horses, followed by local artist Ming Franz's demonstration of splash Ink painting method.
